Field Service Technician

This is a full-time position for a technician who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot in the field, and is comfortable servicing a variety of pedestrian commercial door systems.

Responsibilities\n

• \n
• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial manual and automatic pedestrian doors
• \n
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and access-related door issues
• \n
• Repair and replace commercial door hardware, including closers, panic/exit devices, locks, hinges/pivots, operators, sensors, and related components
• \n
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• \n
• Properly document service work and communicate with customers
• \n
• Maintain a clean, professional company vehicle and work environment
• \n
• Provide high-quality workmanship and customer service
• \n

Preferred Qualifications\n

• \n
• Experience with commercial manual and/or automatic pedestrian doors
• \n
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• \n
• Automatic door industry experience preferred
• \n
• AAADM certification is a plus
• \n
• Familiarity with commercial door hardware, automatic operators, activation devices, safety sensors, and access control is a plus
• \n
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• \n
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• \n
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
• \n
