Our client, UnityLab Corp., located in Dushore, PA is searching for a Field Service Technician to join their team in a full-time position. UnityLab Corp. specializes in manufacturing commercial appliances that work hard for small businesses and organizations. The field service technician is responsible for repair or troubleshooting of equipment during field visits or dispatches to customers’ facilities. Technicians are responsible for managing projects on a day-to-day, and week-to-week basis. This includes diagnosing technical problems, determining proper solutions, and customer support. This position requires travel throughout Northeast PA.
Responsibilities:
* Provide service and customer support during field visits
* Manage workflow and daily job goals
* Manage all on site repair, maintenance and test tasks
* Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
* Produce timely and detailed service reports
* Follow all company procedures and protocols
* Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
* Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
* Build positive relationships with customers
* Communicate clearly
Requirements:
* Prior industrial equipment repair experience
* Technical degree or certification
* 100% travel
* Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment
* Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
* Organizational skills
* Basic computer skills
* Able to read blueprints
* Valid driver’s license
* Field service experience (preferred not required)
