Position: Field Service Technician Department: Service Division: Cortex Reports to: Field Service Manager Exemption Classification: Hourly, Non-exempt What You'll Do As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as the face of our organization in the field, providing both onsite and remote support for apparel dispensing machines used by customers across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software upgrades, and network verification on apparel dispensing systems.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers within a five-hour radius of Reno, NV.
- Coordinate service visits with internal teams, service partners, and customers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and business partners through professional and responsive service.
- Execute equipment installations, including unloading, assembly, setup, network verification, and final operational testing.
- Deliver onsite training for customer personnel and end users to ensure successful system adoption.
- Accurately document service activities, expenses, and customer interactions using systems such as Salesforce, MaintainX, and Outlook.
- Participate in occasional after-hours emergency service calls when needed.

Travel ExpectationsThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working in different environments. - Travel is required approximately 3–4 weeks per month throughout the assigned territory.
- Approximately 25–50% of trips do not require overnight stays.
- Occasional projects may require week-long travel assignments.
Physical RequirementsTo perform this role successfully, candidates must be able to: - Stand for extended periods.
- Kneel, squat, bend, crawl, climb, and work in various positions as needed.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Adjust visual focus and work with detailed equipment components.
