Job Description
Clayton Services is searching for a Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer in Southwest Houston. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and commissioning industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout the region.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $32.00/hour plus OT

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in both shop and field environments
- Perform startup, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation
- Complete service reports and project documentation
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams
- Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with customer safety requirements and company policies
- Travel to customer locations as needed to support service operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical school, military, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial equipment
- Manufacturing, industrial, energy, oil & gas, or related industry experience preferred
- Ability to travel as required
