Field Service Technician

Position Description

• Perform Magnetic Active Cancellation System (MACS) installations, MACS services, Vibration solutions, site surveys involving magnetism, vibrations, acoustics, and RF, FMDS, and TechGate installations.
• Generate technical reports for each field visit related to MACS service and site survey reports.
• Repair and troubleshoot for MACS and FMDS installations.
• Provide training for field service technicians.
• Perform demonstrations for customers and OEMs.

Travel Requirements

• 90% travel; both domestic and international, potential nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent experience required.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM, etc.
• 1+ years of Field Service experience.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service and repairs.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Good driving record with a valid drivers license; must be able to rent a car from a national corporation.
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts.
• Valid Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electromagnetic field (EMF) and radio frequency (RF).
