Field Services Architect

Position Summary
The Field Services Architect serves as the technical authority for MCPC’s field services and onsite delivery solutions. This role is responsible for designing scalable, repeatable, and operationally sound service delivery models aligned with client requirements and business objectives. This individual will work closely with Solutions Architects, Sales, Operations, and Resource Management to ensure field services solutions are efficient, high-quality, and aligned to MCPC’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical authority for field services and onsite delivery models.
Design and architect scalable, repeatable field service solutions aligned to client needs.
Define, maintain, and evolve standardized field service architectures and best practices.
Partner with Solutions Architects during intake, scoping, and solution planning.
Provide technical input for Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and cost estimates.
Support pre-sales engagements as a subject matter expert.
Guide FlexTech and onsite delivery models to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality.
Act as an escalation point for complex delivery challenges.
Collaborate with Resource Managers to align talent, skillsets, and delivery roles.
Ensure solutions meet client, regulatory, and security requirements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and delivery frameworks.
Develop and maintain architectural standards, documentation, and playbooks.
Partner with leadership to align field service architecture with business strategy.
Conduct site surveys, project kickoffs, and deployment support as needed. Travel locally and nationally (~25%).
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in IT services, field services, or onsite delivery environments.
Proven experience in solution design and service delivery models. Strong understanding of field operations, logistics, and workforce deployment.
Experience supporting SOW development, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
Ability to design scalable and repeatable service delivery solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex delivery environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.
