    This is an exciting interactive role supporting leading biotech, pharma, and academic laboratories by ensuring the optimal performance of our client’s state of the art cell counting and analysis instruments. In this role you will be actively supporting installations, qualifications, preventive maintenance, and ongoing customer support, acting as a trusted partner to scientists and researchers. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced laboratory technology, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to our client’s growth journey.

    Responsibilities

    • \n
    • Perform service checks and instrument installations at customer sites/institutions
    • \n
    • Answer all questions that may occur while on site or communicating with customers
    • \n
    • Build customer relationships and recognize their needs
    • \n
    • Identify and execute on sales opportunities with customers
    • \n
    • Accurately record and maintain customer information in ChemoMetec’s CRM database
    • \n
    • Support the sales team with related tasks, as required
    • \n
    • Upkeep of all current instrument policies and looking to improve them in the future
    • \n
    • Ensure discretion and confidentiality with all customer information
    • \n
    • Travel (up to 25%) throughout the Northeastern US and occasionally other parts of the US
    • \n
    • Work effectively from home when not on-site with customers
    • \n
    \n

    Qualifications:

    \n
    • \n
    • Four-year degree in a Life Sciences discipline (essential, engineering discipline preferred)
    • \n
    • Masters degree holders will not be considered
    • \n
    • 1+ year customer-facing experience (preferred)
    • \n
    • 1+ year experience with GMP (preferred)
    • \n
    • 1+ year working with cell culture: primary, cell lines, apheresis (preferred)
    • \n
    • 1+ year using flow cytometry and/or fluorescent microscopy
    • \n
    • Ability to establish rapport with customers
    • \n
    • Able to perform tasks independently with little supervision
    • \n
    • Strong communication skills: written, oral, and presentation
    • \n
    • Ability to use effective questioning to identify customer needs
    • \n
    • Self-motivated and uses initiative on tasks
    • \n
    • Quickly adapts to any situation when problems or issues arise
    • \n
    • Motivated to travel across various locations in the US
    • \n
