We're hiring a Field Services Manager to lead our Carpet, Air Duct, and Power Washing teams in Washington.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to manage people, improve performance, maintain high standards, and hold a team accountable. Every technician within these service divisions reports to you, and you'll report directly to the owner.You don't need a background in carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, or power washing. We'd rather hire someone with proven leadership ability and teach them our services. We'll provide the training and pay for the certifications you need to understand the work you're leading.Spend Your Time Leading, Not Building ReportsWe want our Field Services Manager in the field with technicians, not behind a desk creating spreadsheets.Key performance information - including technician production, upsell rates, callbacks, redos, quality scores, driver-safety events, and program compliance - is automatically tracked and delivered to you.Your responsibility is to understand what those numbers are telling you and coach, develop, recognize, or hold people accountable accordingly.What You'll OwnTechnician Leadership and PerformanceDirectly manage technicians across Carpet, Air Duct, and Power WashingHold monthly one-on-one performance meetings with each technicianCoach employees on production, revenue per hour, upsell performance, quality, and redo ratesSet clear expectations and hold team members accountableRecognize technicians who are ready for advancementAddress performance concerns before they become larger issuesSupport technician development and retentionHandle performance management and difficult employee conversations when necessaryField Quality and Customer ExperienceSpend the majority of your time in the field observing actual service workEstablish and maintain quality standards across all three divisionsMonitor callbacks and redos and address trends when they ariseCoach technicians on workmanship and customer interactionHandle escalated customer concerns from start to finishEnsure customers consistently receive the level of service Alpine expectsRevenue and Field PerformanceDrive revenue growth across Carpet, Air Duct, and Power WashingMonitor technician sales performance and average ticket growthPartner with the field sales trainer to strengthen technician sales abilitiesEnsure technicians follow Alpine's customer programs and field processesSpot-check technician documentation, photos, and required job evidenceUse performance information to identify coaching and development opportunitiesTraining and Field StandardsPlan and lead the 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday team huddleOversee onboarding and ride-along training for new techniciansDetermine when new technicians are ready to work independentlyMaintain proper ServiceTitan usage and field execution standardsOversee truck and equipment assignmentsEnsure vehicle inspections are completedFollow up on driver-safety alerts promptlyMake sure the following week's schedule is prepared and adjusted before the week beginsLearn the Services You LeadWithin your first 90 days, you'll learn each Alpine service well enough to perform or explain it at a high level.You'll develop an understanding of the equipment, processes, pricing, and customer value behind our services so you can effectively coach the technicians performing the work.Alpine provides and pays for this training, including applicable IICRC and NADCA certifications.What We're Looking ForYou don't need cleaning or restoration experience.
