About the RoleThis field‑based role oversees daily operations for commercial construction projects throughout the North Bay region. The Superintendent serves as the primary on‑site representative, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The position requires weekly travel to active job sites, with occasional visits to the Nevada City or Los Gatos offices for training or project coordination.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary range: $85,000 – $100,000 annually

Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily field operations for ground‑up commercial projects
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Track progress against schedules and update the 3‑week rolling schedule
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
Oversee quality control and maintain accurate site documentation
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and internal teams
Identify and resolve field issues to maintain project momentum
Required Skills & Abilities- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and schedule‑driven
- Effective leadership and coordination abilities
Proficiency with construction technology platforms
- Ability to manage fast‑paced field environments
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in ground‑up commercial construction
Experience with Autodesk / ACC / Build (preferred)
- Background in tenant improvement (TI) work
OSHPD or healthcare construction experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and field operations
Experience with construction scheduling
