| 8 | Job Description | Confirm shift rosters and verify laborers report on time, properly prepared, appropriately dressed, and equipped with required PPE Receive and act on City staffing requests via telephone, email, staffing portal, or other designated method, including reporting location, start time, and assignment hours Monitor attendance against the seven-minute tardiness threshold Notify the City's designated contact promptly of absences, call-outs, tardiness, early departures, no-shows, and staffing shortages Source and deploy qualified replacements within 24 hours or one business day of a City request Respond as the Company representative when the City raises assignment-related concerns; execute corrective action, removal, or replacement as requested Brief each laborer before placement on the work, physical demands including lifting and moving materials up to 100 pounds, and outdoor and weather exposure Enforce attire requirements: long durable work pants, compliant shirts, steel-toe footwear; prohibit shorts, leggings, joggers, tank tops, sleeveless shirts, and loose-fitting clothing Issue, inspect, and replace PPE safety glasses, high-visibility vest, work gloves, steel-toe footwear and prevent reporting without PPE to avoid City chargeback Confirm completion of City-required safety orientation and assignment-specific training prior to work Confirm instruction on hazardous materials and sharps, emergency procedures, and traffic-control and work-zone requirements Reinforce conduct standards, including no work under the influence and no tobacco products of any type, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, on City premises Capture first-report information on injuries, illnesses, vehicle or equipment incidents, property damage, near misses, and other safety incidents; escalate immediately Maintain daily source records of scheduled laborers, attendance, hours worked, tardiness, absences, early departures, and replacements Escalate anticipated staffing shortages, with corrective action underway, to the Contract Manager and the City's designated contact | ||||||||
