Position Overview The Facilities Field Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, security, and operational readiness of Bridge shelter motels. This position ensures that all Rooms, grounds, storage, vehicles, and laundry systems are maintained in a safe, functional, and welcoming condition for clients, employees, and community partners. The Facilities Supervisor oversees client guidelines, repairs, vendor management, regulatory compliance, safety initiatives, and facility improvement coordination while supporting the organization's mission of providing safe and dignified bridge shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness. This position works closely with the program supervisor to minimize operational disruptions and maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and funding agency requirements. The Facilities Supervisor may be assigned additional duties as needed to support program goals and agency operations. This includes collaborating with other departments and taking direction from other supervisors or managers as appropriate and delivering write-ups or exit letters to maintain a positive atmosphere for the clients. The Facilities Field Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight and supervision to Engagement staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery through effective client engagement, accurate data collection, and the achievement of positive housing outcomes. This role plays a key part in maintaining contract compliance by supporting staff during regular case conferences, offering guidance, and troubleshooting challenges as they arise. In addition to staff supervision, the Field Supervisor is tasked with conducting scheduled audits of client files to ensure housing documentation is complete and up to date, and that all entries in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) are accurate and timely. The Field Supervisor may be assigned additional duties as needed to support program goals and agency operations. This includes collaborating with other departments and taking direction from other supervisors or managers as appropriate. Expected Hours and Place of Work: The incumbent works full-time, primarily at our Anaheim office, where the typical office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm, and some evenings and weekends as necessary for optimal business function. Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Facility Operations Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of bridge shelter facilities, administrative vehicles, and surrounding grounds. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all building systems, equipment, and vehicles (if applicable).Conduct routine room inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.Coordinate with hotels for emergency repairs to minimize disruptions to shelter operations.Ensure all facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and presentable.Oversight of the groceries and food delivery, and offsite storage.Inventory, ordering, purchasing of supplies. Team Leadership and Management Hiring, training and supervising Community Supports Navigators and/or Case Managers.Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standardsAddress underperformance and implement improvement plans as neededFoster a collaborative and supportive work environmentManage workload distribution to ensure efficiencyMonitor operation of laundry, groceries, offsite storage, engagement staff, and motel concerns. Administrative Support Audit all engagement staff systems and files for timely data entry and qualityEffectively communicate with City Net departments to ensure efficient service deliveryCommunicate with team when additional documentation or correction is neededAssign and prioritize maintenance work ordersDevelop maintenance procedures and standard operating practices.Monitor completion of work orders to ensure quality and timeliness. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations, local fire codes, health department requirements, ADA standards, and applicable building codes.Participate in the organization's Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP), Emergency Action Plan, and other safety initiatives.Conduct routine safety inspections and document corrective actions.Coordinate annual fire inspections, fire extinguisher servicing, alarm testing, sprinkler inspections, and emergency lighting inspections.Assist with emergency preparedness planning and facility evacuation drills. Security Oversee building access systems, key control, and facility security measure.Ensure exterior lighting, surveillance systems, gates, fencing, and security equipment remain operational.Coordinate facility-related incident response with shelter leadership. Environmental Health Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and biohazardous waste in accordance with regulations.Coordinate remediation of environmental hazards when necessary.Maintain sanitation standards throughout shelter facilities. Collaboration Partner with shelter management to identify operational needs.Coordinate facility improvements that enhance client experience and employee safety.Respond promptly to facility emergencies during business hours and participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
