Field Supervisors & Student Teaching Supervisors

Reports to: Jeanie Prall\n \nPosition Summary: Keystone College invites applications for field supervisors and student teaching supervisors, beginning August 2026. Some candidates will work as both a field supervisor and a student teaching supervisor.\n \nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n Given a list of education students and observation checklists, the field supervisor will visit each school placement a minimum of twice a semester.\n Given a list of student teachers, the supervisor will visit each placement a minimum of 3-4 times each semester.\n Attend an orientation meeting at the beginning of each semester.\n During school visit, the supervisor will:\n Conference with the cooperating teacher.\n Observe and evaluate lessons and other activities observed.\n Complete observation paperwork.\n Complete Skills and Disposition checklist\n Conference with student\n Check attendance log\n Check sign I and sign out at front office\n \n\n In addition, student teaching supervisors will:\n Review lesson plans with the student both before and after teaching a lesson.\n Review Llivetext portfolio.\n Complete PDE 430 evaluation for each placement.\n \n\n \nExperience: \n\n Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction or Principal's Certificate.\n Instructional II Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood, Special Education or Elementary Education, K \u2013 grade 6 or principal's certificate\n Minimum of 10 years classroom teaching\n Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience\n \nSkills and Abilities:\n\n Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning\n Experience working with diverse student\n \nTO APPLY: Please email your resume, cover letter, and names, addresses & phone numbers of three professional references to: Human Resources Keystone College One College Green La Plume, PA 18440-1099 * email: humanresources@keystone.edu\n\n
