The Field Support Technician will travel to customer homes & survey the roof & gather electrical information to be used during the solar design process. The Field associate will use both a drone and manual methods to collect this information
What you'll do
Travel to project sites to obtain the necessary information, including electrical data, to complete technical design documents for a solar system
Create detailed rooftop map layout for solar arrays, including roof layout dimensions and all roof penetrations (pipes, vents, etc.)
Develop a positive relationship with customers to establish rapport and to gather facilities assessment data as needed
Conduct a physical site audit using a drone, auditing tools, including a tablet/phone with apps, measuring devices, and other related equipment
Upload site audit documents and photos to a cloud server
Maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle
Identifies issues on homes that may interfere with our installations
Interacting with homeowners if questions arise
Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish and English speaking preferred
Must have an active and valid driver’s license Ability to work on the roof in a physically demanding role
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity
