    Job Description

    TIAG now hiring Field Technician/ Installer at a Level I experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.

    This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

    Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS; opportunity for OCONUS travel. Candidates preferred to have passport and international travel experience.

    Clearance: This position will require a government clearance to be processed, so US Citizenship is a requirement.

    This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week.

    A Level I Technician is responsible for performing basic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks under direct supervision. This role is focused on learning foundational technical skills and adhering to standard operating procedures.

    Training Requirement

    Basic Troubleshooting

    Diagnose and resolve common, routine technical issues.

    Complete introductory technical training module.

    Equipment Installation

    Assist senior technicians with the physical setup of new equipment.

    On-the-job training and guidance from a Level III Technician.

    Documentation

    Accurately record all service and repair activities in the system.

    Attend documentation workshops and certification programs.

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
    • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical or related field.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance; US or Naturalized Citizenship is required
    • Basic knowledge of low voltage system components and wiring.
    • Familiarity with standard hand tools and testing equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Strong verbal communication skills.
