Field Technician Power Washing

Industrial Technicians are first‐line responders who are cross‐trained to provide a wide range of services across multiple industries. These services include, but are not limited to, emergency spill response, remediation, industrial cleaning, remediation, waste handling, amongst other . Daily work may involve confined space entry, spill cleanup, decontamination, high‐pressure washing, sweeping, shoveling, and other labor‐intensive activities.

This role works closely with Project Managers, Drivers, Account Managers, and Customers in a supporting capacity

Job Responsibilities

• Weekend work is required
• Maintain dependable and consistent attendance to meet work schedule requirements
• Respond to emergency/time‐critical incidents including chemical releases, natural disasters, derailments, and spills affecting soil or water
• Perform physical labor associated with cleanup, sample collection, waste removal, and remediation
• Perform industrial cleaning projects using equipment such as super sucker, trailer mounted vacuums, ride‐along sweepers, water blasters, surface cleaners, and pressure washers amongst others
• Operate power and pneumatic tools such as air compressors, saws, drills, grinders, jackhammers, rivet busters, air scrapers, and pumps
• Use hand tools, squeegees, shovels, brooms, absorbent boom, and pads to contain and remediate impacted soils and waters
• Perform manual labor requiring periods of extensive physical exertion
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and decontamination
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and site‐specific safety plans
• Participate in performance initiatives and 5S cleanliness standards
• Attend communication meetings and complete Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Wear required PPE including FR uniforms, hard hat, safety glasses, steel‐toe boots, leather gloves, respirator, and protective clothing as needed
• Maintain supplies and equipment in an organized manner
• Assist with warehouse, building, and grounds maintenance
• Complete daily timesheets, JHAs, spill reports, labels, and manifests
• Lift 50+ lbs routinely and wear PPE for extended periods
• Assist with job site setup and teardown
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre‐employment physical, drug screen, and alcohol test
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Must meet company auto insurance requirements
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40‐hour certification (or ability to obtain)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, and understand English and follow written/verbal instructions
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
