Field Technician

As a Field Technician at Boss LTR, you’ll be on the front lines of our operations—installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting lighting towers, power systems, and other rental equipment at customer sites. This role requires a hands-on, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment and takes pride in delivering reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, install, and retrieve lighting towers, generators, and other equipment to/from customer sites.

• Perform on-site inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and complies with safety standards.

• Assist with the setup and operation of temporary lighting and power systems for job sites or events.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures in the field.

• Maintain accurate service and inspection records.

• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding service issues and timelines.

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in equipment service, electrical work, or field technician role (preferred).

• Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to operate forklifts, boom lifts, and tow trailers (CDL a plus).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or kneel for extended periods.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work after-hours or weekends.
