Location: Graham, NC (and surrounding service territory)
Pay: $25/hr.-$40/hr. (Direct Hire)
Hours: 7am-until (40-55 hours weekly)

About the Opportunity

Join a company at the forefront of mission-critical water purification technology. We design and support advanced high-purity water systems used in industries where precision matters most—pharmaceutical manufacturing, life sciences research, semiconductor/electronics, and industrial power generation.

This is a hands-on technical role for individuals who enjoy solving complex mechanical and electro-mechanical challenges in the field. If you come from HVAC, automotive/diesel, industrial maintenance, or other equipment service backgrounds, this role offers a structured path to transition your skills into a highly specialized, high-demand industry.
We provide full training on our systems—what matters most is your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will be the trusted expert ensuring our customers’ water systems operate at peak performance:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-purity water systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues impacting system performance and water quality
  • Support installation teams during commissioning and startup of new systems as needed
  • Document all service activity accurately, including parts used, time tracking, and service notes per SOPs
  • Partner with engineering and service leadership to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers through consistent, high-quality service
  • Educate customers on best practices for system care and operational efficiency
  • Maintain a strong safety-first mindset in all field and shop environments
  • Keep service vehicles, tools, and workspaces clean, organized, and professionally maintained
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to support customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned in support of service operations
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment service, field service, or industrial maintenance (customer-facing experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Experience with troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, instrumentation, or controls
  • Background in HVAC, automotive/diesel repair, industrial equipment, or similar technical fields
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, web-based systems)
  • High school diploma or GED required
What We Offer
We invest heavily in our technicians because your success drives ours:
  • Competitive base salary
  • Full benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance
  • Health Savings Account with company contributions
  • 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%
  • 9 paid company holidays
  • Generous PTO that grows with tenure
  • Tuition and education assistance programs
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Continuous training from internal and external industry experts
Work Environment & Lifestyle
  • Field-based role working inside industrial and regulated customer facilities
  • Significant local travel throughout the service territory
  • Approximately 7 overnight stays per month
  • Rotating on-call responsibility for customer support
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Fast-paced, hands-on work with high visibility and impact
