Field Technitian

As an Field Technitian you will work with installation and repair of electrical systems, electronic components wires and conduits for the IT department.

Specific responsibilities:

• Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools

• Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays

• Assisting with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, IT panels, motors, and circuit

• Helping to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as: access control panels and components, lighting, and power supplies, cameras and network equipment

• Tracing out short circuits in wiring, using test meter

• Examining electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools

• Constructing controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches

• Cleaning work area 

• Maintaining tools and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

Specific requirements:

• 1-5 years of electrical experience

• Valid driver's license in state of practice

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel

• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work

• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems

• Willing to work overtime

• High standard of integrity and professionalism

• Drug free at all times
