We are seeking a dependable Field Test Technician to perform construction materials testing and inspections on construction projects throughout Houston and the surrounding areas. Construction experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform soil compaction testing using a nuclear density gauge
  • Perform concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, and cylinder fabrication
  • Conduct field inspections in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Complete field reports accurately and submit documentation in a timely manner
  • Travel between the office and multiple jobsites throughout the day
  • Safely transport testing equipment using a personal truck (vehicle allowance and fuel provided)
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Personal truck suitable for transporting equipment (vehicle allowance and fuel provided)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous construction materials testing (CMT) experience
  • Current or previous certification(s) such as:
    • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician 
    • TxDOT
    • NICET
    • TWIC Card
  • Experience operating a nuclear density gauge
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
