Field Welder / Fabricator / Installer

Pay:  $20-22/hr. (depending on weld test rate could be higher)

Shift: Day Shift (Mon-Fr)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Field Welder/Fabricator/Installer for placement with one of our clients. This position is responsible for the on-site fabrication, welding, and installation of sheet metal products including ductwork, specialty components, and custom assemblies across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is comfortable working in dynamic field environments, including on ladders and at elevation.

Requirements:

• Professional or School experience with Welding/Fabricating or Field Installation
• Proficiency in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick); AWS certification a plus
• Experience working with galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and/or carbon steel
• Ability to safely work from ladders for extended periods — comfort with heights is required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites (this position does not require operating a company vehicle)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions
