Field Welder/Installer – Steel Framing & Metal Deck Systems

• Do you excel working at heights over 40 feet with an unwavering focus on safety?
• Can you lift 75 lbs, handle hand/power/pneumatic/powder‑actuated tools, and perform precise welds?
• Are you willing to travel 100% of the time to chase the next project in a new city or state?
• Do you bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and reliability to every job?

Role Snapshot

• Install and fasten sheet metal decking on steel structures.
• Weld decking and perform shear stud installation per plan/spec.
• Operate and care for hand, power, pneumatic, and powder‑actuated tools.
• Maintain equipment, complete accurate daily time/attendance, and assist the crew as needed.
• Follow OSHA, customer, and company safety protocols at all times.

How Work Flows

• Full-time, hourly position on daytime shift.
• Upon project completion, travel to the next assignment is required.
• Hours adjust with site needs and seasonal conditions.
• Active projects in GA, NM, TX, LA, VA, AZ, SC, MD, with more on the horizon.

Preferred Credentials

• OSHA 10‑Hour Construction Safety Certification
• Welding Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification
