Job Details

IQ Resource Group is hiring for a Field Welder in Anoka, MN!

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 an hour!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

-Need to be flexible depending on job and weather!

This position is temp-to-hire!

This position is responsible for working on steel structures for construction projects, including buildings, and more!

Responsibilities:

Cut, weld, and assemble steel parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
Operate cranes, hoists, and other machinery to lift heavy steel pieces into place.
Perform quality checks on materials and welded components to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Maintain safety practices and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Inspect steel structures and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Assist in rigging steel materials and ensure proper loading and unloading of steel parts.

Requirements:

Must have experience with Stick welding, cutting, and steel fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and alignment of steel components.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to [Weight Capacity]).
Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions.
Experience with cranes or rigging is a plus.
Strong commitment to safety protocols.
Stick Welding Certification
Prior experience in construction or steel working is highly preferred.
