Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality Mexican food items, especially tacos, while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and speed during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Warm tortillas and prepare taco ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Assemble and garnish food with excellent presentation
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and cleanliness standards
- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience required
- Knowledge of Mexican cuisine, specifically tacos preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ideal for part-time or additional hours
