We are seeking qualified Plumbing Nominees with Gasfitting to join the DeltaFM team at Port Haven on a Full-Time Ongoing basis. You’ll have a permanent position within a small but established Facilities Maintenance team. This 1200 Room Accommodation Camp located in the Pilbara has been in operation since 2009. Site includes an Outdoor Lap Pool, Tennis Courts, Gym with meals provided by our very own Compass Chefs.
THE POSITION
- Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
- Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems
- Technical manager on the licence under which company plumbers can perform their work
- Provide instruction to other plumbers on compliance requirements
- Conduct plumbing inspections and advise Unit Managers of hazards and non-compliance to standards. As a Nominee, you are responsible to ensure that work is supervised and carried out in a compliant manner
- Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance, 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required, Leading Hand Allowance if applicable.
THE PERSON
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Able to FIFO from Perth Airport & available for long-term ongoing rosters
