Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload filament winder machine.
- Retrieve appropriate tooling for the job.
- Select and verify filament winder program based on the job.
- Set up machines.
- Clean machines.
- String machines.
- Complete paperwork as necessary.
- Remove and replace temporary flooring at workstation.
- Sweep and Mop floors as required.
- Labor in/out using data collect.
- Maintain 5S standards.
- Move completed parts to staging area.
- Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Work closely with other departments to determine priorities.
- Use of overhead crane.
- Follow all work procedures for the area.
- Comply with all safety and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience:
- No experience required.
- Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic knowledge of measuring devices, including calipers, OD micrometers, tape measure, and ruler.
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift 45lbs.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hrs per shift.
- Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions.
- Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials.
- Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies.
