A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for File Transfer Architect.

Position Type: Fulltime, Contract
Location: Phoenix AZ
Duration: 6+ months contract
Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite in a week)


Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced File Transfer Architect to lead the modernization of a large-scale, enterprise file transfer ecosystem. This role focuses on transforming legacy Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms into secure, scalable, and cloud-native architectures, supporting mission-critical data movement—including sensitive payment card data.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise file transfer technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and security frameworks, with a strong focus on architecture, resilience, and compliance (PCI DSS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the modernization of legacy MFT platforms into cloud-based architectures.
  • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and resilient file transfer solutions.
  • Architect secure file transfer ecosystems using MFT tools, APIs, and file gateways.
  • Enable large-scale file movement (100GB–200GB+) with performance optimization.
  • Strengthen security controls, including encryption, certificate management, and SSH key authentication.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and enterprise security standards.
  • Define and drive the future-state architecture aligned with business and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise integrations and external partner connectivity.
  • Provide architectural guidance for onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational stability.

  • Secure File Transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, etc.)
  • Connect:Direct and enterprise-grade file transfer tools
  • File Gateway & API Gateway architecture
  • Cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure
  • Cloud migration and legacy modernization strategies
  • Data security: encryption, certificates, SSH key management
  • Enterprise integration patterns and large-scale data movement

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $65- $70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
