Filler I Manufacturing
Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania Pay: $20$24 per hour, depending on experience
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Filler I to support the filling, preparation, finishing, and staging of mats and related manufactured products. This position fills products using the correct foam, materials, and components, assists with product completion, conducts quality inspections, and helps maintain a safe and organized production flow.
Primary Responsibilities
Fill mats and related products with the correct foam, materials, and components according to work orders, product specifications, and management instructions.
Prepare, organize, stage, and move covers, foam, panels, and other materials needed for filling and product completion.
Verify that all materials and components are correct before beginning assigned work.
Inspect filled products for proper fit, alignment, completeness, appearance, and overall quality.
Report defects, inconsistencies, missing materials, and other quality concerns to management.
Mark, label, organize, and stage completed products for the next production step, shipment preparation, or designated storage area.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company procedures, equipment guidelines, and all applicable state and federal safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least six months of experience in production, manufacturing, product finishing, material handling, warehousing, or a related hands-on environment is preferred
Equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities may be considered
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of production, product-finishing, and safe material-handling practices
Familiarity with work orders, product specifications, foam, covers, and other product-filling materials
Ability to accurately fill and prepare products and organize, stage, and move materials
Ability to inspect completed products for fit, alignment, completeness, appearance, and quality concerns
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work orders, product specifications, and production priorities
Strong attention to detail in a physically active production environment
Ability to communicate defects, inconsistencies, missing materials, and safety concerns appropriately
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take direction, assist others, and adjust to changing business needs
