Pictures Creative Development InternWarner Bros. TV Creative Affairs InternYour Role AccountabilitiesRead and evaluate incoming materialsProvide book and script coverage on a wide range of material for potential projectsLearning the essentials of being an entertainment assistant including rolling calls, scheduling, and any relative admin workStep in for Executive Assistants to schedule meetings, manage executives calendars, and offer departmental supportGain exposure to various creative materials throughout the film development & production process, including reading scripts, practicing script coverage, and watching dailies and/or rough cuts of our projects when possible as well as films from up-and-coming filmmakersAssist Production and Post-Production Assistants in everyday tasks such as production/post tracking, database management and file creationPerform research projectsCreate and maintain lists of available actors, writers, and directors for current and future projectsAssist with the editing and creation of internal documents ad hocWork with Production Coordinators and Managers on assignments as neededTrack competitive projectsCompile weekly newsletter of industry-relevant news, trends and film/TV trailers, and distribute it to executives and other employees across the Motion Pictures groupAttend weekly department staff meetingsShadow development assistants on a weekly basis and learn entry-level administrative skills, with the potential to cover executive desks/phones as neededListening in on calls, pitches, and staff meetings and take network notesQualifications & ExperienceScript coverage or book coverage experiencePassion for film, television and the industry as a wholeProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel), Google Docs, and Adobe PDFsFamiliarity with macs, desk phones, and industry playersAbility to multitask and handle competing prioritiesStrong attention to detailAbility to take initiative, learn quickly, and be proactiveAbility to adapt and overcomeMust be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergrad student (18 years or older)Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.Warner Bros. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.Interviewing will take place frommid Februarythroughearly-April.
