We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Filtration Service Technician to support a variety of filtration and air quality maintenance services across commercial and industrial environments. In this role, you will help maintain clean, safe, and efficient systems by replacing filters on HVAC systems, water filtration units, dust collectors, chemical media systems, and supporting HVAC duct cleaning activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, follows safety procedures closely, and takes pride in delivering quality service.
Responsibilities
Replace and install filters in HVAC systems according to service requirements and manufacturer specifications.
Perform filter changes on water filtration systems, dust collectors, and chemical media equipment.
Assist with HVAC duct cleaning tasks to help maintain air quality and system efficiency.
Inspect equipment and report signs of wear, damage, or needed maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures, site protocols, and environmental guidelines during service visits.
Maintain accurate service records, including completed work, materials used, and any observations from the job site.
Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and replacement filters as needed.
Keep work areas clean and ensure equipment is handled responsibly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in HVAC maintenance, filtration services, duct cleaning, or a related field is helpful.
Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment-specific procedures.
Comfort working in industrial, commercial, or mechanical environments.
Ability to follow instructions, safety standards, and service checklists.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform physically active tasks as required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with HVAC systems, air filtration, or facility maintenance.
Knowledge of filter types and replacement procedures.
Familiarity with cleaning tools, vacuum systems, and hand tools used in service work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This position may involve travel to customer sites and work in indoor and outdoor environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, industrial facilities, and other operational settings. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on role that may require standing, lifting, bending, and working around active equipment.
