JOB SUMMARY:
Perform final detail operations, checks, and repairs on furniture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews furniture for imperfections and any final details needing addressed. Uses some judgment on issues and how to resolve them. May work under the guidance of higher-leveled Final Assembler Detailers.
Sanding and buffing of topcoat finish repairing minor issues. Work with stain and tone dept to fix any major issues.
Reviews and repairs all QA squawks.
Mixing paint and finish painting of details such as screw heads.
Disassemble as required for repairs and re-assemble to finished state.
Operates basic power and hand tools such as buffers, drills, grinders, sanders, wrenches and screw drivers.
Responsible only for own work with the ability to train others on assembly operations.
Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification. Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
6+ months of assembling or disassembling experience.
Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust and noise. Safety shoes could be required.
Possible exposure to dust, heat, loud noise. Safety shoes could be required.
