The Final Assembly Foreman is responsible for overseeing the final assembly process, ensuring products meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
Lead and participate in the precision installation of mechanical and structural components for passenger rail vehicles
Train and mentor assembly team members on proper procedures and techniques
Ensure all products meet quality standards and are free of defects
Monitor production schedules and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Coordinate with inventory and other departments to ensure materials are available for production
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues
Maintain accurate production records and provide progress reports to management
Participate in meetings to review production goals and performance
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:
Standing up to 8 hours per shift
Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Environmental Conditions:
Primarily indoor work in ambient temperatures, with occasional exposure to extreme heat, cold, or weather conditions
High school diploma or equivalent
