Job Summary
Packers are experts in ensuring all guitars are packed, identified, labeled, and sealed correctly for customer delivery. They have a complete understanding of the various accessories that should accompany each specific guitar model. They also have a thorough understanding of guitar quality and can meet the requirements of the job in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
- Place the completed guitars in their respective case along with correct accessories and inserts.
- Identify, package, seal and label the completed guitar case according to the correct specifications for each model.
- Palletize completed boxes and prep for transfer over to the distribution center.
- Follow the best practices of manufacturing and material handling requirements.
- Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.
- Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.
- Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and interpret specifications and packing instructions for each model of guitar.
- Ability to work standing and walking continuously during scheduled shift hours.

Required Education and Experience

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
