Final Assembly Test

Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company, is looking for a  Final Test / Final Assembly Technician with 2-5 years’ experience who will be responsible for performing end-of-line assembly and functional testing of manifold assemblies and indicators.  This is a Temp-Direct job for an Aircraft company in Oxnard, CA

Salary: $23.00 HR

REQUIREMENTS
This role ensures completed units meet workmanship, quality, and performance requirements prior to release/shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working from drawings/work instructions while using indicators and measurement tools.

• Assemble manifold components and subassemblies according to prints and work instructions.
• Install fittings, seals, fasteners, and related hardware using appropriate tools and torque techniques.
• Perform final build verification (correct components, orientation, and workmanship) prior to test.

• Set up and perform functional testing on completed manifold assemblies using defined test procedures.
• Use indicators and measurement tools (as applicable) to confirm alignment, movement, and/or dimensional requirements.
• Monitor test results, identify failures or abnormal readings, and escalate issues to Leads, Engineering, and/or Quality.
• Troubleshoot basic issues (leaks, improper fit, incorrect assembly, failed readings) and perform rework where permitted by procedure.

• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately (test results, checklists, travelers, etc.).
• Follow workmanship standards, safety requirements, and cleanliness/handling procedures.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

Physical / Work Environment

• Production/manufacturing environment; PPE may be required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to (_25 lbs) as needed.A
