Job Summary

The Final Quality Control (FQC) Inspector verifies that production processes and finished products comply with the requirements of the Quality System and applicable regulations.

General Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control operations on finished products according to customer requirements and the quality management system.
  • Identify, record, and report any unfavorable quality trends or risk conditions in products or processes.
  • Notify the supervisor of any deviations from established Quality Standards.
  • Correct and record all quality problems when non-conformities are detected.
  • Maintain processes in case of errors (e.g., wrong or damaged material) and notify the material control supervisor immediately.
  • Assist with necessary tests for products or processes to start production.
  • Assist in Process Audits.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Accountability in achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Additional Job Description

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift hours (5:30 am to 2:00 pm) before being released to 2nd shift (approx. 4-8 weeks).
  • Must be able to work 2nd Shift hours (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) after completing training successfully.

This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-US Persons, as defined in the ITAR and EAR, may not be eligible to obtain authorization.
