A Southern California manufacturer supporting aerospace and defense programs is hiring a Final Inspector with direct bare board PCB inspection experience. This role focuses on final visual inspection of printed circuit boards to confirm compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform final visual inspection of bare board PCBs after completion of all manufacturing processes
Review travelers and standard operating procedures to confirm lot numbers, panel quantities, and completion of prior operations
Inspect holes, thickness, markings, and conductive patterns using inspection equipment
Verify products meet order specifications and quality standards
Identify defects or non-conformances and report findings to the team lead
Stamp and date travelers and inspection documentation
Support additional inspection or quality tasks as required
Requirements
Direct experience performing final inspection of PCB bare boards
Knowledge of flex and rigid-flex printed circuits
Familiarity with industry standards such as:
IPC-6012
IPC-6013
IPC-610
J-STD
MIL-STD P-55110, P-50884, P-31032
Ability to identify PCB defects during visual inspection
Ability to read travelers, blueprints, SOPs, and technical documentation in English
Willingness to work overtime when production requires
Schedule:
8-hour shift
Monday to Friday (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
Overtime and Weekends as required
California Pay Range
$18 - $25 USD
