Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Final Quality Control Associates in San Jose, CA

Schedule: 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM

As a Final Quality Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our materials and finished products meet all applicable laws and company standards. You will be responsible for testing products across all stages of production to maintain quality levels.

Responsibilities:

• Use basic inspection tools and devices, such as magnifying lenses, microscopes, calipers, and color pantones.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Inspect materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
• Monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
• Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
• Perform inspections across all stages of production.
• Prepare and maintain test data for review.
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Language: English proficiency is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA contract manufacturing.
• Accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Practical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ESD, IPC-600/610, and workmanship standards.
• Attention to detail.
