Finance Administrator
Position Summary
The Finance Administrator is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization through effective budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. This role partners with leadership to support strategic decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong internal controls.
In this role, the Administrator will assist with driving HCI's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance management, and strategic finance functions. The position works closely with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, identify risks, improve operational performance, and support key business initiatives. Success in this position is measured not by the production of reports, but by the quality of insight, influence, and strategic guidance provided to the organization. Director will oversee utilization of decision support system to manage the operational and personnel functions of the Finance department in order to coordinate activities and ensure compliance with University, Government and Departmental regulations, policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or field related to employing unit; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in financial or accounting practices, developing research projects, funding and grant practices and/or experience in a field related to the area of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA, CPA or CMA preferred. Experience in a medical School, university, or healthcare organization, understanding of RVU data required. Supervisory experience required.
