We're hiring a Finance Administrator to support payroll, benefits, and basic accounting operations. This is a contract‑to‑hire role for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys hands‑on payroll work and collaborating with finance and HR teams.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, onsite

Contract‑to‑Hire | Onsite | Burlington, MA

$80,000-$90,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Process bi‑weekly, multi‑state payroll accurately and on time
  • Handle payroll updates (new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions)
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports and timesheets
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and employment verifications
  • Support onboarding and offboarding related to payroll and benefits
  • Track benefit deductions, including 401(k)
  • Assist with payroll reporting, journal entries, and workers' comp reports
  • Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Assist with general accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong payroll experience (ADP or similar systems)
  • Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and accounting fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Clear communication and strong attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with Employee Navigator
  • E‑Verify knowledge
  • Payroll certification (FPC or CPP)
