Title: Finance Analyst Location: Des Moines, IA Alternative Location: Irving, TX / Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6 months Work Engagement: W2 Work Schedule: Onsite Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K, and Voluntary Benefits Summary In this contingent resource assignment you may Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Finance. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Finance challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: Work experience Consulting experience Training Military experience Education Key Responsibilities Lead or participate in research and underwrite the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area. Review and research moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests that require an in-depth evaluation. Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits. Maintain risk ratings and other relevant data on systems of record. Approve loans or leases within delegated credit authority and recommend transactions in excess of that authority. Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting peers, colleagues, and middle level managers and achieve business objectives. Work with internal and external business partners to gather information to make appropriate decisions. Key Requirements Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Equipment Finance Underwriting experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: Work experience Training Military experience Education Decision-making & authority Collaboration & Communication Bachelors degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related field. Experience underwriting transactions and exposures in excess of $1MM. Financial Analysis experience. Experience working across multiple industries in an underwriting capacity, i.e., construction, transportation, industrial, manufacturing, office, technology, health care, and technology. Experienced and proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Technical & Analytical Skills Strong financial analysis capabilities. Ability to research, analyze, and determine creditworthiness. Ability to maintain risk ratings and ensure data accuracy in systems of record.
