    Finance Analyst

    *The role requires onsite presence for approximately the first 3–4 months for training.Upon successful completion of training, the position will transition to a hybrid work schedule.

    Primary Function / General Purpose of Position

    The Financial Analyst supports organizational financial and operational performance through planning, analysis, reporting, and modeling. This role is responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, developing insights to support decision-making, and producing clear, accurate reports and tools that enhance performance. The Financial Analyst works closely with leaders and cross-functional teams to interpret trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide sound financial guidance.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Analyze historical and projected financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities that inform decision-making.

    • Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking.

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance standard and ad hoc financial and operational reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.

    • Build financial models and projections to support planning, performance improvement initiatives, and strategic analyses.

    • Prepare clear, concise, and user-friendly presentations and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights.

    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to evaluate financial and operational performance over time.

    • Support data integrity by compiling, validating, auditing, and maintaining data from multiple source systems used for reporting and analysis.

    • Assist with imports, exports, and ongoing maintenance of data used in financial and operational reporting tools.

    • Conduct research and ad hoc analyses in response to leadership and business needs.

    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical methodologies, and utilization of data.

    • Serve as a financial and analytical resource on assigned projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations.

    • Maintain awareness of healthcare industry trends and operational drivers that may impact financial performance.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)

    Work Experience

    • 1+ year of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (preferred)

    • Healthcare experience (preferred)
