Job Title: Finance Analyst - MFG & Operations

Job Overview

Collaborates with multiple functions and provides analytical insight for supporting operational objectives that aligns with the business strategy.

Your main tasks

  • Own the non-plant P&L and act as right hand and go-to person for the non-plant activities within Power and signal solution Subvertical.
  • Creation of transparency in all non-plant areas by implementation of new reporting tools and analytics.
  • Track and reconcile material productivity on monthly basis and ensure proper reporting
  • TEBIT project/Pipeline tracking.
  • Become the "go to" person for the global SC and procurement leaders.
  • Drive freight initiatives together with the SC team and bringing transparency in this area by building analytics to facilitate decision making.
  • Analysis of non plant P&L for PSS and coordination actions between plants and Shared team on the non plant area.
  • Bridges results (actual/fcst/budget) and communicates gaps of performance in a comprehensive way to enable management decisions and conclusions
  • Provide service and support in terms of analysis and data to ops functional leaders on the non plant areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the functional areas on identifying issues and help on their resolution (Implementing TEOA).
  • Best Practice sharing / Coordination & training / Know-How transfer (e.g. action plans; KPI's) within PSS the area of non plant
  • Standardization and automation of reporting by partnering with ACOE team under PSS SV and Ind BU
  • Control Cost of functions on the non plant (Indirect spend cost control and hiring plans…) and ensure proper report of productivity
  • Control Material burden cost and recoveries (Freight and Distribution cost, Purchasing costs).
  • Forecast and budget of shared non plant P&L for PSS.
  • Establish and maintain Performance tracking non plant KPI's
  • Performing cost center control, including cost center accounting, cost accounting,
  • Cost savings review and tracking
  • Project work and adhoc analysis, e.g. provide analysis of financial impact of decision making.

Your ideal background

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 8+ years of finance experience or equivalent in a global manufacturing company
  • Good SAP knowledge is a strong plus
  • Understanding of manufacturing organizations and supply chains, manufacturing budgeting, forecast processes.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PPT
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Accurate, systematic, and independent work style
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment, proactive, organized and results oriented strong continuous improvement mindset focused on generating information and recommendations, not just data
  • Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skill set with an acute attention to detail, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and financial modelling
  • Culturally sensitive and Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
