THE WORK

Provide financial and business decision support to multiple constituents within the Operations organization at Troy Alabama site.

  • Provide effective support to cost performance and support EAC process
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including financial reporting, expense management and capital investment plans ensuring alignment to the strategic and financial objectives of the company.
  • Assist with implementation of key business projects supporting productivity and affordability.
  • Monitor and implement process controls and improvements in adherence with company's internal control and accounting practices.
  • Contribute on a variety of teams and/or independent assignments designed to simplify/streamline the part costing/targeting process and program cost reporting.
  • Support monthly closing activities for overhead, capital and earned value. including variance analysis, operational reviews, annual and long range planning.
  • Communicate risk and opportunities to Operations and Senior Management.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis to FP&A, Programs, and Senior Management
  • Lead/support continuous improvement initiatives, including management of team metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

Expertise in SAP and excel, data analytics, tableau, and familiarity with Sikorsky Operations.

  • Demonstrated performance on root cause corrective actions, building effective relationships, and forecast accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

  • Be able to adapt to a changing environment and maintain a high standard of performance. This position provides the opportunity to work with multiple customers and develop a relationship with Programs, Operations, and Finance.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate results and recommendations to a variety of audiences within the organization

Experience with SAP, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Programs.

  • Proven ability to translate operational data into actionable financial insight and to spot variance trends quickly.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple cross-functional customers
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for cost tracking and reporting; be an advocate for continuous process improvements.
  • Pilot AI enabled toolsets as they become available.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
