Note: Candidates should have 3+ years of finance transaction experience and an active New York law license. Significant experience structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions is strongly preferred, including experience representing both lenders and borrowers.

Job Description
- Manage and participate in all aspects of finance transactions, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing.
- Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated financing and acquisition transactions.
- Work on senior and mezzanine debt transactions, particularly those involving private equity acquisitions.
- Analyze and negotiate complex financing documents and transaction structures.
- Work directly with clients to understand objectives, address issues, and move transactions toward closing.
- Support transactions across a variety of industries and middle-market businesses.
- Participate in business development activities and help strengthen client relationships.
- Delegate and supervise work performed by junior associates.
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices to efficiently execute complex transactions.
- Take ownership of matters while exercising strong judgment and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- 3+ years of finance transactional experience.
- Active New York law license.
- Significant experience structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions.
- Experience with complex financing and acquisition transactions.
- Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers; experience on both sides strongly preferred.
- Exposure to private equity acquisitions, senior debt, and/or mezzanine debt transactions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and business judgment.
- Motivated self-starter with a team-oriented mentality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
