Finance Associate - Real Estate

Finance Associate – Real Estate | Boston, MA

I’m working with a leading global asset manager that is looking to add a Finance Associate to their Real Estate Finance team in Boston.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional to gain exposure to both property-level investments and fund-level accounting and reporting within a sophisticated real estate investment platform.

The team manages a diverse portfolio of real estate investments across North America, including multifamily, industrial, life sciences, retail, senior housing, self-storage, and medical office assets.

Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze weekly cash activity, including capital calls and distributions
• Perform cash availability analysis across multiple funds, including loan drawdowns and repayments
• Coordinate wires, cash reconciliations, and banking activity
• Review interest expense and bank fee workpapers
• Support quarterly reporting, property budgeting, and audit/tax deliverables
• Partner with internal teams, fund administrators, and outsourced accounting groups
• Assist with process improvement and other Finance projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Big 4/public accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Yardi experience is a plus, but not required

$75K-85K base salary, depending on experience
