Finance Business Analyst

A professional services firm located near downtown LA is looking for a Finance Business Analyst / Finance Project Manager for a long-term contract. The Finance Business Analyst / Finance Project Manager will be responsible for handling various business analytics, finance, and systems functions for the company. The Finance Business Analyst / Finance Project Manager will perform financial planning & analysis, KPI reporting, prepare client billing reports, market analytics, revenue analysis and forecasting, and financial modeling. The Finance Business Analyst / Finance Project Manager will also participate in system enhancement and implementation, data mining projects, as well as preparing and analyzing executive presentation templates. The Business Analyst /Finance Project Manager will collaborate with various departments and personnel.

• Qualified candidates will need to have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of finance, market / business analytics, and systems skills.
• Professional services industry experience (legal/law firm, public accounting, consulting firm, etc.) is required.
• Strong background of data management and financial modeling tools. SQL is required.
• Knowledge of 3E and law firm business practices are a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills are critical.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills are also needed.
• Pay, $60 - 70/hr.
