We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team. This role will be focused on driving insights and financial support around topline performance metrics at a software company. You will be a strategic partner to leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, and Revenue Operations, enabling data-driven decision making through robust weekly agile forecasting, annual budgeting, and reporting.

You will also play a key role in the monthly close process collaborating closely with Revenue Accounting counterparts to ensure accurate and timely reporting under ASC 606. This position is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in SaaS metrics and a passion for turning financial data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, and RevOps leadership to develop forecasts, budgets, and business models that drive topline performance.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance reporting on key SaaS metrics including Bookings, ARR, renewals, gross and net retention, and pipeline trends.
  • Provide weekly agile forecasting for revenue and related topline metrics.
  • Support a collaborative month-end close process, working with Revenue Accounting to reconcile topline performance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Develop insights and business cases to support growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and go-to-market investments.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting, planning, and business partnership processes.
  • Leverage EPM tools (Adaptive Planning or similar) and Excel to streamline and scale forecasting processes.
  • Present financial analysis and insights to executives in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of finance experience, with at least 2+ years in a software/SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics: Bookings, ARR, renewals, gross/net retention, pipeline metrics, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Prior experience with Adaptive Planning (or similar EPM tools) is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including scenario modeling, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with senior business leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to distill complex financial data into clear business insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

While we offer flexibility, this role includes an expectation of being onsite three days a week in our Tampa office to support team alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
