Finance Business PartnerMichael Page has been retained by a growing, private equity backed construction business with operations across North America and an established international footprint. The business is recognized for delivering complex, project based solutions to a diverse client base and is entering an exciting phase of growth and operational transformation. The organization is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support senior leadership across North America, helping drive performance, strategic decision making, and sustainable profitable growth.Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Business Partner will serve as a key strategic partner to operational and commercial leaders across the North American business. This individual will provide financial insight, performance analysis, and decision support while helping the construction business optimize profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify growth opportunities.Main duties and responsibilities include:Partnering with operational, commercial, and functional leadership teams to support strategic and financial decision making.Providing analysis and insights on business performance, financial results, and emerging trends.Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes.Delivering monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.Supporting business leaders with operational and commercial reporting that drives actionable outcomes.Identifying opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.Conducting regular P&L reviews and performance discussions with regional stakeholders.Developing financial models, investment evaluations, and business cases for strategic initiatives.Monitoring key financial and operational KPIs while highlighting risks and opportunities.Translating complex financial data into clear recommendations for non finance audiences.Driving a culture of accountability, data driven decision making, and financial rigor throughout the organizationThis is an exciting role at the core of a highly entrepreneurial, well-established, forward thinking, commercial construction business based in New York.
