Summary

The Finance Director will work directly with leadership and oversee the financial department. This includes performing duties and developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The Finance Director will be responsible for coordinating with the Accounting team and other internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and risk analyses to the senior leadership team.
  • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital expenditures to ensure financial stability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate and work as a team with Operations, Coordinated Services, and Administrative Services.
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Leading the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with executive management to guide strategic decision-making with financial insights and analysis.
  • Managing relationships with internal management, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead financial audits and ensure all financial records and reports are accurate.
  • Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for cost management and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial laws and regulations, including tax planning, compliance, and audits.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Supervision Given:

The Finance Director does not supervise anyone.


Supervision Received:

The Finance Director reports to the Chief Executive Office


Education

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Certification

  • CPA, (not required, but is preferred)

Experience

  • 5+ Years exempt-level Accounting experience within a Multi-Site Behavioral Health or Healthcare setting.
  • 10+ years of demonstrable experience as a Financial Director, Chief Financial Officer, or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday with accessibility to attend meetings at local accountants' office and with supervisor.
