JOB REQUIREMENTS: Finance Director Manitowoc County, Wisconsin Lead the

oversee the County's financial operations and ensure long-term fiscal
stability. This executive leadership position plays a critical role in
supporting County departments, elected officials, and the County
Executive through sound financial management, budgeting, reporting, and

Finance Director, you will serve as the County's chief financial
administrator and provide leadership in all aspects of governmental
accounting, budgeting, auditing, financial reporting, and fiscal
management. Key Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and administer a
centralized accounting system that accurately reflects the financial
status of Manitowoc County. Provide technical financial expertise,
analysis, and budget reports to the County Executive, County Board,
committees, and department leaders. Assist departments with grant
applications, resolutions, grant administration, and required reporting.
Partner with the County Executive in developing and managing the
County's annual budget. Compute tax rates and tax levies and oversee
the apportionment of county taxes. Prepare the County's Annual
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (ACFR/CAFR) and coordinate annual
external audits. Administer the County's property and liability
insurance programs. Manage the County's revolving loan fund. Ensure
timely and accurate submission of financial reports to state, federal,
and external agencies. Promote financial accountability, transparency,
compliance, and best practices throughout County government. Why

* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong knowledge of
governmental accounting principles, budgeting practices, auditing
standards, and public finance. Experience preparing financial
statements, audits, tax levy calculations, and regulatory reports.
Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication
skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with elected officials,
department heads, auditors, granting agencies, and external
