The finance team for AMPS (AWS Marketplace and Partner Services) is looking for people like you!

AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support the AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace is the most strategic channel for partners worldwide to acquire new customers and increase profitability in the cloud, and it is central to our Partner strategy. This position will work with key business partners to drive thoughtful planning, analysis, decision support, and controllership.

This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem solving skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and solid skills in project management. This role has regular interaction with varied stakeholders across product, engineering, and business development and requires strong people skills.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product and Engineering organization on key projects that influence and drive the business, including feature launches, market expansion opportunities, infrastructure optimization and new revenue generating businesses
  • Analyze proposals, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change
  • Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights, and lead ad hoc analyses
  • Create, maintain and improve management reporting, with a focus on automation and utilization of AI
  • Collaborate across service teams to support integrations and new economic models

A day in the life

This is a finance business partnering role so you will be interacting with Marketplace operators and leaders on a daily basis. There"s no typical day as you could be working with them on financial modeling for new proposed features or services, developing pricing scenarios, or driving support for planning and prioritization decisions
